Paris to St. Jean Pied De Port

After finding a post office to mail our baggalinis to ourselves in Santiago we went to Gare Montparnass to catch the very fast French TGV train to Bayonne, then a bus to St Jean Pied De Port. Seeger, this picture is just for you. Is it electric or diesel? How fast does it go? Look it up on the Internet. Impressions: track side graffiti is not limited to the US, expansive fields of yellow flowers, hilltop castles, village after village with houses all the same color & style, beige with brown shutters. The train tracks to SJPP had washed out several months ago so we went by bus winding in and out of picturesque villages, again all the same style & color, this time white with red shutters. We found our albuergue, 7 people in room, Brian the only male. At least we had bottom bunks. Had a hard time getting to sleep, but up early to start the Camino.

  1. Delighted to hear from you. I took two of your plants to Home Depot for examinations. A foamy plant food was recommended.
Perhaps the plant leaves are turning yellow and dropping because they are missing you and their beach home. I do hope to they survive their summer vacation. Hugs, Linda
